Annual MLK musical held Sunday

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Musical was held at New Bethel Baptist Church in El Dorado Sunday night. Part of a weekend of activities preceding MLK Day organized by the Self Culture Club, the event featured performances from local musical acts Chosen and the Throwback Choir. Other events throughout the weekend included the annual MLK Banquet, held Saturday night, as well as a parade held Sunday. (Matt Hutcheson/News-Times)
